CPY reaches the high school level by hiring young CPY graduates after they have volunteered for either a summer session, or two quarters with the after school mentor-tutor program. Additionally, those hired through our High School Leadership Program must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA. CPY recognizes the importance of a High School Diploma and always striving to do one’s best.
It is a powerful thing to be called a leader. With this title comes accountability and responsibility. Through mentoring and tutoring youth, our high school leaders practice these values and further develop their leadership skills. Moreover, we are helping them obtain important job skills that they can carry with them throughout life.
